Foodlink Project successful in Local Food application.
We are delighted to announce that our Foodlink Northwest project has been awarded funding under the Local Food Changing Spaces program funded by Big Lottery.
The award for our two year project commenced in December 2011 and will run until the end of November 2013 and we expect during that time to make an impact in helping to bring more information about local foods from across the 5 county areas in the Northwest region.
Initially the project will employ co-ordinators in each county and with partner support commence its program of event engagement with local food producers, food outlets and the public.
